Our 2022 26er Challenge officially ended with a block party on June 17! Although the challenge ended in March, we (eagerly) waited for nice weather so we could host the party outdoors at the tasting room.
We have hosted the 26er Challenge bi-annually since 2016, with each year growing exponentially in number of participants. The challenge entails trying 26 new hard ciders every two weeks for a year. But not only do we get to create this amazing community of cider fans, but a portion of the sales from the 26er ciders are donated to the Adirondack Mountain Club’s Summit Stewardship Program. In fact, due to the large number of people who completed the 2022 challenge (1,700!), we were able to raise $11,120.32 for the program!
The block party included new ciders, food trucks and a photo booth. Representatives from the Adirondack Mountain Club were on hand to provide information and to celebrate. And even though the rain threatened to shutter the party, thanks to the Upstate heartiness of Nine Pin, the Adirondack Mountain Club, and the 26ers everyone still came out to celebrate. Here’s to the next challenge!
