Nine Pin Cider Celebrates Pride Month

Nine Pin Ciderworks, New York’s first farm cidery, is pleased to celebrate Pride Month this year with a series of exciting events, colorful cider offerings, and meaningful community partnerships that honor and support the LGBTQIA+ community.

Nine Pin kicks off Pride Month with its fan-favorite Pride Drag Show on Sunday, June 1. Hosted by the fabulous Typhoid Mary, the event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Tasting Room. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. and the show begins at 12:00 p.m. Seating is first come, first serve, so early arrival is encouraged for a front-row seat to the fabulousness.

Back by popular demand, Nine Pin’s glitter-filled Pride cider, Disco Berry, returns to Nine Pin’s Tasting Room this June. With bright berry flavors and dazzling bottle artwork, Disco Berry is not just a delicious cider but a toast to love, authenticity, and visibility. A portion of proceeds from Disco Berry will support OutHudson and Prism Counseling & Advocacy, two organizations working to uplift and empower LGBTQIA+ individuals across the region.

Nine Pin continues its proud support of In Our Own Voices, a vital local organization helping LGBTQIA+ people of color. On June 7 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., donated Nine Pin cider will be available at Say It Loud! BIPOC Pride 2025 in Washington Park, a celebration of culture, resilience, and community. Throughout June, guests can also support IOOV directly by ordering a Roy G. Biv cocktail at Nine Pin’s Tasting Room. For each vibrant, rainbow-inspired drink sold, $5 will be donated to In Our Own Voices.

Nine Pin’s Mobile Bar will roll loud and proud in the OutHudson Pride Parade on June 21. Community members are invited to cheer along the street or join the parade and share in the spirit of celebration and advocacy.

“This month is about celebrating who you are and supporting one another,” said Alejandro del Peral, co-founder and cidermaker at Nine Pin Cider. “We’re proud to use our platform to elevate voices, bring people together, and support the work of incredible organizations making a difference and encouraging inclusivity throughout the Capital Region.”
