The City of Albany is WILD! Wild Tails of Albany Animals is a first of its kind. Maeve McEneny-Johnson from Discover Albany will share historic stories of Albany’s long-time love of furry and feathered friends, big and small. The tales she’ll share are charming, outrageous, mostly a little silly – but all true! She will also uncover many sly critters in the form of carvings, statues, and public art hidden in plain sight. Featured creatures include Owney the Postal Dog, Henry Hudson’s cat, and Nine Pin’s beloved neighbor—Nipper!
This event is free with a purchase. Well behaved pups on leashes are welcome.
