NY Apple Tree Giveaway

The land that feeds us needs more than our appreciation. It needs our participation. This Earth Day, Nine Pin is giving away 9 apple trees to people ready to get their hands dirty because planting something is the most direct way we know to show up for Mother Earth.

THE IMPACT

A single apple tree absorbs CO2 and cleans the air around it. It produces up to 20 bushels of fruit a year — feeding you, your neighbors, and the birds and wildlife that share your space. It creates habitat for pollinators. And it keeps giving for generations, becoming more valuable with every passing season. Nine trees. Nine people. A small but real contribution to the earth that feeds us all.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Nine Pin Cider Works and their immediate family or household members are not eligible.

Giveaway Period

Begins March 20, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends April 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

How to Enter

Follow the entry instructions provided in the promotional post. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Giveaway Period. Multiple entries will be void.

Prize

Nine (9) winners will each receive one (1) approximately four (4) foot apple tree.

  • Apple variety to be determined at Sponsor’s discretion.
  • Tree will be shipped dormant and may not have leaves at time of delivery, regardless of promotional imagery.
  • Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value.
Winner Selection

Nine (9) winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries after April 30, 2026. Winners will be contacted using the information provided at entry. If a winner does not respond within five (5) days, an alternate may be selected. Odds depend on number of eligible entries received.

Prize Fulfillment

Trees will ship within four (4) weeks after the giveaway concludes. Winners will receive a tracking number once shipped. Sponsor is not responsible for carrier delays, damage in transit, improper planting, or survival of the tree after delivery.

General

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Nine Pin Cider Works from any liability arising from participation or acceptance of prize.
